MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR'S DESK
I am a dedicated support worker; caregiver and I advocate for people living with a disability. Being a disability support worker for close to 10 years, I have worked for several disability organisations (large & small) and many agencies. I must say I have seen it all. With the experience I have acquired, working with different types of disabilities through these years. I knew the time is right for me to create an organisation that would support people living with disability in an approach that exclusively involves them with every bit of how they are supported. I believe this type of support system would put people living with disability at the centre of their own life; making them the pilot of how they are supported.
I have been able to establish a team that believes in what I believe – that is, we put our participants first, we listen to our participants, ask them questions, we listen again, seeking to understand what their support, care & needs are; and match them with the appropriate support staff for them to live life to the fullest in their respective communities, community centres and Specialised Disability Accommodations (SDA).
As the Founder & Director of Support & Care Alliance Pty Ltd. I am very honoured by what we do and so humbled that several adults with disability and families have entrusted our services to support their loved ones achieve their goals, be valued members of their communities, work and have the opportunity to play and learn in a safe environment.
